A je to tu. Necudná pornoliteratúra definitívne ovládla česko-slovenský fandom. Už sme si zvykli na vlkodlakov a upírov v erotickom prevedení, ale nespútaný sex prenikol už aj do sci-fi.
Určite poznáte Luca Bessona. Geniálneho režiséra a priemerného scenáristu. Prečo ho spomínam? Lebo jeho príbehy sa hneď niekoľkokrát venovali labilným ženám-zabijakom na úteku. Nikita. Colombiana. Lucy. A Zoe kráča veľmi podobnou cestou. Ale prináša podstatne viac promiskuity.
Zoe je výsledok genetických pokusov. Ujde. Zlí týpci ju chcú dostať. Umierajú nevinní. Hrdinka sa rozhodne pomstiť a všetko ukončiť. Ak si aj odmyslíme Bessonove hrdinky, túto zápletku už poznáme v nespočetnom množstve obmien (Agent bez minulosti, XIII, Som číslo štyri). A debutant Ján Mrva sa ani netvári, že by písal niečo prevratné. Jeho román je odpočinkové čítanie, ako stvorené pre cesty vlakom.
Príbeh sa odohráva v postapo prostredí, v nanovo rozdelenej Amerike. Ide však len o príjemne, nie veľmi podstatné spestrenie. Autor venuje najviac pozornosti vzťahom hlavnej hrdinky s vedľajšími postavami. V jeho podaní je mladá žena značne nevyrovnaná a vrhá sa do erotických dobrodružstiev s každým. Na veku a pohlaví nezáleží. V tomto pohľade si Mrva v ničom nezadá s E L Jamesovou. Teda v oblasti sexu je slovenský autor určite odvážnejší, ale úplne rovnako plytvá slovami. Dalo by sa povedať, že ho vlastne obdivujem, že dokázal napísať štyristošesťdesiattri strán s tak jednoduchou zápletkou. Na rozdiel od Päťdesiatich odtieňov sivej však Zoe aspoň nejaký príbeh (a tým aj zmysel) má.
Veľkú časť románu tvoria opisy citových vzplanutí a pohlavných vyvrcholení. Čitateľ si postupne vznikne na pozvoľné tempo i spôsob písania (striedanie minulého a prítomného času je napokon prekvapivo osviežujúce). Akonáhle pristanete na brakovosť románu, ide o celkom znesiteľné čítanie. Autor trochu neobratne narába s jazykom (nakupovanie v krámikoch, prášenie guľometmi, zbraň vypadávajúca z úchopu...) a neerotická časť knihy občas vyznie ako nesúrodá zmäť akčných scénok. Faktom však ostáva, že príbeh má to, čo možno z určitého pohľadu fanúšika akčného žánru nazvať trademarkmi. Teda diktátorskú zločineckú organizáciu, hneď niekoľko ultra zlých záporákov, drsný vojenský výcvik, ostreľovačov vo vojnovom konflikte, útek pred políciou aj armádou a samozrejme veľkolepé finále, kde vybuchne všetko, vrátane balíčka hygienických vreckoviek.
Zoe je oddychovka s pár slušnými akčnými scénami a mnohými neslušnými erotickými. Vedľajšie postavy sú viac menej len figúrky, ale aspoň sú odstraňované z cesty hneď potom ako splnia svoj účel. Celkom by ma zaujímalo, ako by román vnímali ženské čitateľky. Ja som toto béčko zvládol bez väčšej ujmy.
